What goes into your number
We're not hiding a secret formula. A handful of plain things decide your price, and once you understand them, the quote makes sense.
- Lawn size. The square footage we actually mow and treat - a courtyard lot in Palmetto costs less than a sprawling Parrish yard.
- Lawn condition. A healthy, even lawn is quick. One full of weeds, bare spots, or chinch-bug damage takes more work to get back to good.
- How often we visit. Weekly costs more per month than bi-weekly, but each visit is usually less because the grass never gets out of hand.
- Terrain and access. Slopes, ditches, lots of beds and trees to trim around, narrow gates, or anything that slows the crew down.
- What's growing. St. Augustine in our sandy soil and humidity has its own needs - and the summer fertilizer ban shapes the feeding schedule.

Straight answers about cost
Why isn't there one flat price for lawn care?
Because no two yards are the same. A small fenced lot in Bradenton takes a fraction of the time of a half-acre in Lakewood Ranch with slopes and tight beds. Charging everyone the same would mean overcharging small yards to cover big ones. A quick look at your lawn lets us give you a fair number that actually fits your property.
Do you require a contract?
No. There are no long-term contracts and no cancellation fees. You can pause for a vacation or stop anytime - just let us know. We'd rather earn your business every visit than lock you in.
What's included in the mowing price?
Every regular mowing visit includes mowing, edging along walks and driveways, line-trimming around obstacles, and blowing the clippings off your hard surfaces. We don't nickel-and-dime you for the basics that make a lawn look finished.
What if it rains on my service day?
Florida afternoons being what they are, we watch the weather. If a storm makes it unsafe or mowing a soaked lawn would tear it up, we shift your visit to the next clear day that week and let you know. You're never charged for a visit we didn't make.
Do you bag the clippings?
Usually no - and that's on purpose. Mulching the clippings back into a healthy St. Augustine lawn returns nutrients to the soil and is better for your grass. If your lawn is overgrown or you'd prefer bagging, we can do that; just ask and we'll include it in your quote.
Will my price change through the year?
Your per-visit rate stays the same. What changes through the year is how often the grass actually needs cutting. Florida lawns grow fast through the summer rains from June into September and slow way down in the cooler, drier winter months, so we may move you from weekly to bi-weekly once growth eases off - which lowers your monthly cost without letting the lawn look neglected. We will always talk it through before changing anything, and we never surprise you on a bill.
How do you handle the summer fertilizer ban?
Manatee County bans nitrogen and phosphorus fertilizer from June 1 to September 30 every year to keep those nutrients out of the Manatee River and the local waterways during the rainy season. We follow it, no exceptions. During the ban we shift your lawn program to iron-based products that green up St. Augustine grass legally, plus close pest and fungus watch, since summer is exactly when chinch bugs and brown patch do their worst. Your fertilization schedule is built around that calendar, not against it, so your lawn stays fed and you stay on the right side of the county.
Is there a fee for the quote?
